Elevate Nutra Liver+ bottle

Liver+ is one of the multi-ingredient formulas in our plus range. Its label lists several ingredients that are popular searches on their own, including NAC, TUDCA and milk thistle. Here is what each one is.

The key ingredients per serve

Ingredient Amount What it is
Astragalus root extract powder 1500mg From Astragalus membranaceus, a plant used in traditional Chinese medicine
N-acetyl cysteine (NAC) 500mg A form of the amino acid cysteine
TUDCA 250mg Tauroursodeoxycholic acid, a bile acid
Schisandra fruit extract 200mg From Schisandra chinensis, known as five-flavour berry
Milk thistle extract (80% silymarin) 200mg From Silybum marianum seeds

The formula also includes vitamin E, zinc, selenium and vitamin B12.

What does “80% silymarin” mean?

Silymarin is the group of compounds that milk thistle extracts are standardised to. “80% silymarin” means the extract is standardised so that 80% of its weight is silymarin. In a 200mg extract, that is around 160mg of silymarin.
