Single Ingredients vs Multi-Ingredient Blends: How to Compare
What to look for on the panel of a multi-ingredient formula, and when a single ingredient is the simpler choice.

Our range includes single-ingredient formulas, such as Zinc Bisglycinate or Ashwagandha, and multi-ingredient blends from the plus range, such as Mushroom+, Liver+ and Prime+. They are labelled differently, and they are compared differently too.
Single ingredients
A single-ingredient product lists one active ingredient and one amount per serve. Comparison is simple: check the form, the amount per serve and the serving size.
Multi-ingredient blends
A blend combines several ingredients in one serve. When you read a blend panel, look for:
- Every ingredient listed with its own amount, so you know how much of each is in a serve.
- Extracts and their source, for example which part of a plant or mushroom is used.
- The serving size, because blends are often taken as two or more capsules per serve.
Which suits you?
A single ingredient keeps things simple and makes it easy to know exactly what you are taking. A blend brings several ingredients together in one product. Neither is better in general. It depends on your routine and preferences, and a health professional can help if you are unsure.
Reading the plus range
Every formula in the Elevate Nutra plus range publishes its full supplement panel on its product page, with each ingredient and amount listed. Explore the blends.
